paths, one human story
Before becoming a sneaker brand, LEVAC was first and foremost an industrial name. It belonged to a company specializing in lifting and handling equipment, located near Lyon, driven by a culture of rigor, standards, and performance. It was in this context that the LEVAC Sneakers project took shape. When Teddy Tournier took over a factory in Lamastre, in the Ardèche region, historically linked to safety footwear, one thing gradually became clear: the industrial demands of the professional world could become the foundation of a premium lifestyle product. Not to subvert the established norms, but to sincerely apply them to a different use. "I come from a world where there's no room for half-measures. When we realized we could put this rigor to work for a lifestyle product, it was a no-brainer," explains co-founder Teddy Tournier. LEVAC Sneakers was thus born from a solid foundation and draws upon locally rooted expertise, stemming from an existing industrial activity that served as a fully-fledged creative base.
"When I first met Teddy in 2024, I immediately knew we would create something together. LEVAC Sneakers was born from a primarily human encounter, founded on trust and the complementarity of our visions and expertise."
LEVAC, AN ACRONYM AS A COMMON THREAD
The name LEVAC has gradually transformed into a founding acronym, imbued with meaning.
L -ocal, first, for its territorial roots and French manufacturing.
E -légance, then, in a sober, everyday wearable, understated approach.
V -aleurs, because the brand is built around authenticity, high standards, and uniqueness.
A -ttisanat, because crafting a Made in France sneaker remains a precise, committed act, requiring genuine expertise.
C -aract, finally, in reference to the personalities of the founders and a strong vision.

At the heart of LEVAC lies a simple and powerful, almost primal idea: the fingerprint. Each individual possesses their own unique and singular imprint, and no two are identical. For LEVAC, the imprint symbolizes the mark left by those who move forward, build, and commit. This imprint, discreetly integrated into the design, becomes a distinctive sign of the brand: leaving a mark, without ever copying.
OUR POSITIONING
LEVAC positions itself in the accessible premium segment, designed to last. The main collection is based on clean lines, quality materials, and crisp finishes. Each model is designed to accompany everyone's everyday life, transcending genres and seasonal trends. "We didn't wake up with a sneaker idea. We found ourselves with a solid industrial foundation, a commitment to manufacturing, and the desire to create a premium, accessible, and above all, authentic brand," reveals Karim Moundji, co-founder. In parallel, certain signature lines explore a higher level of technicality and exclusivity. Numbered and constructed differently, they reflect a more refined ambition, without ever straying from the brand's DNA. Regardless of the model, each pair is crafted as a durable sneaker, not simply a disposable item.
